Holy Boys f.c of ijebu ode has completed the signing of Bello Babajide on a 6month loan deal starting from february 2014. The deal will see Babajide feature for the UNE based team in the upcoming AFAM league. Although, no official statement has been released from Awosedo f.c, but it is believed their is a mutual consent between the two clubs concerning the transfer. Babajide will make his official debut in a friendly match against Zion f.c of Ikoto on thursday. Reacting to news men earlier today, Babajide said, "
i'm really happy to be here and to be a part of this team. i choose this team over other suitors just because of the love and passion for youth football that is been promoted here at holy boys, and obviously because of the cordial relationship i have with some of the players here, i'm looking forward to a lovely 6months here."
It will be recalled that Babajide was part of the ijebu waterside team that won the maiden Sir Kesington Adebutu U-18 championship alongside some Holy boys team-mates like the likes of Shittu Jamiu, Rilwan(alumi), Hammed, and also goalkeeper Gbenga, it is believed that this relationship might have influenced Babajide's decision to sign for Holy Boys. It remains to be seen how well he fits into the team. fingers crossed..
