SEX AT THE WORLD CUP
Sex at the World Cup would help' -
Valderrama
Colombia legend Carlos Valderrama claims players
would be far more relaxed at major tournaments if
coaches took a softer stance towards the issue.
Players would be far better
off if they were allowed to
have sex during the World
Cup, according to former
Colombia international Carlos
Valderrama.
Mexico boss Miguel Herrera has banned his squad
from having sex during the tournament in Brazil,
insisting the players "are not going to a party" and
must devote their full focus to matters on the pitch.
Brazil head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has also urged
his players to avoid anything "acrobatic" in the
bedroom during the finals, which begin next month,
and while Valderrama agrees that players should
avoid any physical risks, he insists they would benefit
from the added "relaxation".
"If we'd had sex during the World Cup, it would've
been better. We would have relaxed after games -
especially after defeats. It's total relaxation," he told
Ole .
"It's not an impediment. It should be quiet, cool,
without inventing crazy poses."
Valderrama earned 111 senior caps for Colombia and
featured in the 1990, 1994 and 1998 World Cup finals.

Dear Mr. President, come take a walk with me
Let's pretend we're just two people and you're not better than me
I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly
Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep?
What do you feel when you look in the mirror? Are you proud?
How do you dream when a mother has no
I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly
Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep?
What do you feel when you look in the mirror? Are you proud?

Wenger falls twice at Anfield
Its a very good Sunday morning here in ijebu imushin, but I'm quite sure it's not all that good-a-morning for my fellow arsenal fans out there most especially for our baba-ijebu coach otherwise called Arsene Wenger. It was a bad day in the office for AW both on and off the pitch as the battering we received was just too much to handle that he lost his feet and slipped on his way back home.
Arsenal's title challenge may not have fell flat on its face just yet after Manchester City's slight slip-up at Norwich, but Mr wenger did take a tumble on his way back from the 5-1 defeat at Liverpool on Saturday.
Arsene Wenger, so often the cool, calm and collected Frenchman, slipped on his way into Liverpool Lime Street Station after the loss.
I don't know if I'm supposed to laugh or pity the old man, but before I turn this into a debate I think I'd better keep mum for now. Fingers crossed till Wednesday when R.V.P comes visiting.

Former CAN President, Akinola Recounts Kidnapping Ordeal
Former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Most Revd Peter Akinola, who regained his freedom from his abductors has joined other Christians in the special church service held at the St. Peters’ Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion in Abeokuta.
Joined by friends, relatives and the congregation, Peter Akniola was full of praises to God, the Ogun State Government and the Nigeria Police for their quick intervention which led to his freedom.
While recounting his ordeal while it lasted, the former CAN president challenged youths of the country to make themselves available for various opportunities being put in place by government and concerned Nigerians to fully develop their innate and God given talents.
He recounted his conversation with one of his abductors: “This young man was telling me in the car that he was educated, but he has no job, he has nothing to do than to do what he’s doing now but he doesn’t enjoy it. Those were his words that I don’t enjoy what I’m doing but I have to do it.”First Xmas Service For Pope Francis
Pope Francis, celebrating his first Christmas as leader of the world's 1.2 billion Roman Catholics, on Wednesday called for dialogue to end the conflict in South Sudan and all wars, saying everyone should strive to be personal peacemakers. Speaking to tens of thousands of people from the central balcony of St. Peter's Basilica, the same spot where he emerged to the world as pope when he was elected on March 13, Francis also made another appeal for the environment to be saved from "human greed and rapacity".

Audi starts testing new R18 e-tron
A week after the World Championship winning Audi R18 e-tron quattro car's last run in a race, its successor is ready to hit the track. The new LMP1 sports car, which has been kept under wraps up to now, have commenced testing on the US track of Sebring in Florida. Audi Sport has developed a new Le Mans prototype that corresponds to the Technical Regulations for 2014 and is designed for maximum efficiency. The development started in 2012. The next-generation Audi R18 e-tron quattro is now being tested on the race track where all new Le Mans prototypes of the Audi brand have had to prove their worth. "We've reached a crucial stage in this project," said Head of Audi Motorsport Dr Wolfgang Ullrich. "After building the first prototype, testing on various race tracks is now taking centre-stage. The tests are mainly focused on achieving high mileage, co-ordinating the highly complex hybrid drive systems and working out an efficiency optimised total package that has never before been as complex as this one."
The Magical Luiz Suarez
Arguably the best striker in the world at the moment, Luiz Suarez has again displayed why Real Madrid would be willing to splash the cash again. Two brilliant goals and two assists from the Uruguayan man saw Tottenham beaten for the third time at home this season.
With the responsibility of the captain's hand band on his shoulder, Luiz Suarez did not dissapoint at all as he scored the first goal to set up liverpool for a great sunday evening. With a cool, calm and over all brilliant finish Suarez capitalised on poor defending from spurs. Henderson got Liverpool's second of the evening. It was destined to be a bad day for Spurs as Paulinho received his matching order. The Brazilian midfielder was sent off for a high foot to the chest of Suarez and its all seem game over. Liverpool were at no mercy as Flanagan scored his first senior goal with a sublime finish.
As the maximum three point seem to be all but taken, their was still time left for a Suarez moment. The Uruguayan man scored his second of the evening and 17th goal of the season with a lovely flick over an on-rushing Lloris before setting up Sterling for Liverpool's fifth.
An Iroko Has Fallen As Mandela Is Laid To Rest
“A great tree has fallen,” said Chief Ngangomhlaba Matanzima
during the funeral service that included barnstorming speeches referring to the
continent’s anti-colonial struggles, as well as Mandela's impact around the
globe.
The funeral drew 4,500 guests to the village of Qunu, from
relatives and South African leaders to Britain's Prince Charles, U.S. civil
rights leader Reverend Jesse Jackson and talk show host Oprah Winfrey. Retired Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu,
fellow Nobel peace laureate and close friend of Mandela's, also attended after
an apparent misunderstanding about his participation was resolved. Air Force helicopters and planes performed a flypast during
the burial in the family graveyard.

YQ drops The Spenders’ Anthem – “Nawo Nawo” ft. Olamide
| He was first signed to 2Koncepts Entertainment at the start of his career, YQ has made a niche for himself as an indigenous melodious and sonorous voice which specializes in dishing out club-banging hits for himself and for others he features with. A quality which eventually got him signed to Storm Records in 2010.He since parted ways with Storm Records and has been relatively silent since then. This however isn’t to get off the scene but to plan and strategize for a better YQ. Hence the birth of his new label: H.O.P. Unit |
